I think your emotion changes from person to person. As you get older, a lot of people become cynical because of the experiences they have had and haven’t been able to let go of, whether they’ve been cheated on or whether it hasn’t worked out. It’s so easy to turn around right now and say, “Just let it go.”

When I’m at the premiere and I see the film in its entirety, I forget plot, I forget the story, I forget what my character goes through, because I really do just let it go.

I can honestly say that probably 95% of the things I was afraid of, it turned out I had no reason to be. So drop fear by the wayside. Just… let it go. Then make way for a surprising tomorrow.

Sometimes being a friend means mastering the art of timing. There is a time for silence. A time to let go… And a time to prepare to pick up the pieces when it’s all over.

Some of us think holding on makes us strong; but sometimes it is letting go.

By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. But when you try and try. The world is beyond the winning.

I have a bad habit of inserting my ideas into shots and things. I don’t know, I don’t hold back on suggesting things, but I don’t have any connection to what actually happens, so I’ll make a suggestion on something and then just let it go.

People tell me, ‘Bill, let it go. The Kennedy assassination was years ago. It was just the assassination of a President and the hijacking of our government by a totalitarian regime – who cares? Just let it go.’ I say, ‘All right then. That whole Jesus thing? Let it go! It was 2,000 years ago! Who cares?’

I’ve already got notebooks full of ideas for new music, so I’m gonna kind of nurture that just like I do all of my ideas and perfect it until it’s ready and then I’ll just let it go.

The thing that I do is that when I fail, I just keep quiet about it. I just let it go. It’s done. I just go to the next thing. I don’t complain, I don’t go to – I pick my battles very, very judiciously, and I just assume that there’s good in the heart of everybody.

I love talking about the Kennedy assassination. The reason I do is because I’m fascinated by it. I’m fascinated that our government could lie to us so blatantly, so obviously for so long, and we do absolutely nothing about it.

Why bear malice? Just let it go. So what of pride? It will swallow you whole.

There’s an elitism that comes out with the entertainment industry. I’ll talk about some shows, but I’m not gonna say that you’re dumb for watching one over the other. I just let it go. I don’t have to declare a fatwa on any of these things. I’ve gotten over some of my elitism.

There should be more on television that uplifts people and shows them how to better prepare themselves for earning a living. There still aren’t enough people that say “this should not be.” We just let it go. We need to raise a loud voice about our fellow human beings.

Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it.
